Foundation for Science and Mathematics Education staff
Director of Advancement, Martha McKnight joined the Foudation team in mid September 2011. Martha graduated Yale University with a degree in English. She comes to the Foundation with 25 years of experience in development and management positions in the education and non-profit sector including posts at the Arts Council, Tulane University, and NOCCA. In Martha’s previous post at FirstLine Schools she served as development director and was responsible for developing a fundraising program for 5 schools that included individual giving and corporate, foundation, and government grants.
Grant Writer & Communications Officer Erica Severan came to the Foundation in September 2010. With a master of science degree in health care management from the University of New Orleans and a bachelor's in psychology from the University of California, Riverside, Erica has previously worked in the health care, government and education sectors. She has received awards in recognition of her leadership abilities.
